Application of the Just in Time methodology to increase productivity in Latin American Companies

Abstract

commercial sector is the engine of growth and thus increase production. The present work is analyzed in the approach of the just-in-time tool (JIT) focuses on optimizing the processes eliminating those operations in which they are incurred, identifying the activities that do not give added value to the companies, in order to achieve the increase of productivity with constant strategies applying continuous improvement. It is based on achieving good results, applying efficiency and effectiveness to all the processes carried out by companies to obtain the best results, for this it is necessary to optimize the quality of the processes to generate greater profitability, increase sales, avoid losses to increase profits in companies, guarantee satisfaction and customer loyalty.

The objective of the systematic review is to know the application of the Just in Time methodology to all types of companies to generate productivity in Latin American processes, improve competitiveness and minimize company costs.

This scientific research was carried out based on the PRISMA methodology, for the development of which study search engines such as SCIELO, SPRINGER LINK, PROQUEST GOOGLE ACADEMIC, DIALNET and REDALYC were used, using good delimiting criteria within which journals from 2010 - 2022 were used, both in Spanish and English.

From this systematic review, we will seek to improve the impact on the implementation and methodology of Just in Time to increase productivity in all companies that will apply it, taking into account the evaluation of the indicators of suppliers, inventories, MRP (Planning of material requirements). A quality-oriented culture will be implemented and the variable dependent on the production process has dimensions in everything that is efficiency and effectiveness, giving importance to what is most important, such as the optimization of resources. The main conclusion is the application of the JIT system is a key tool in the subsistence in the industries in order to obtain the expected results with an added value, when evaluating the strategic advantages in the organizations in order to deliver the requested product to the market.
