Abstract
The purpose of this study is to propose the application of the method - SIX SIGMA, as a means of increasing productivity in fishmeal industries, since it allows to improve processes beyond what the company allows, for which they are excluded from control. which in turn leads to the loss of many resources, money and time, the use of Six Sigma when the product or process does not meet the needs of the customer, on the other hand, does not benefit the various interests of companies.
Therefore, we must use the interpretive type research with the pre-experimental research design, test it before and after using the method.
The purpose of this review is to understand how to apply six sigma to improve productivity in the flour industry.
Likewise, it is necessary to use cause and effect diagrams to recognize possible causes of defects in production processes (reception of raw material, kitchen, presser, dryer, bags) that affects the quality of fishmeal.
This study is based on the PRISMA method, using SCIELO, SPRINGER LINK, PROQUEST and GOOGLE ACADEMIC, REDALYC, etc. to develop search engines, and using delimiting criteria for magazines in Spanish and English from 2012 to 2022. Based on this research, we are trying to apply the Six Sigma approach to increase production in the flour industry.
